Collection of information

You may browse and search items on JayJugarmanOnline, hereafter referred to as JSO, without providing any personal information. However, to post, bid on or buy items or services you must first become a registered user. Once you register and submit your personal information, you are no longer anonymous to us. By registering you agree to the transfer and storage of your information to our servers.

Information that we collect may include the following:

• E-mail address and physical contact information
• Credit Card Information.  You must have a current and valid credit card to register and provide credit card information.  Under special conditions, it might become necessary to collect other financial information.
• Content information pertainingi nformation necessary to bid, buy, advertise or sell.  
• Information required in order to ship or purchase an item or service

Marketing
We do not sell or rent your information to any third party for marketing purposes.

The purpose for collecting your information is for JSO to provide a safe and effective experience while using JSO service.

You agree that we may also use your information to:

·        Provide you with services and features that you have requested

·        Collect fees

·        Resolves disputes

·        Prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities, and to enforce our User Agreement.

Disclosure of Your Information

In order to comply with legal requirements to, enforce our user policies, respond to claims that a listing or other content violates the rights of another or to protect any ones rights, property or safety.  We will disclose personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.  Additionally, we may share information with J. Sugarman Auction Corp. our parent company.

 Information You Reveal on JSO

Your user name is connected to all of your JSO activities including your bids, purchases, items for sale, advertising, storefronts, feedback, ratings and associated comments; thus this information is available to the public.

Using Information Obtained from JSO
In order to complete transactions, JSO allows members to share personal and financial information with each other. We cannot guarantee the privacy or security of said information with parties other than ourselves.  We strongly encourage you to review the privacy and security polices of your trading partner before deciding to disclose your information. 

You agree to use user information only for:

• JSO transaction-related purposes that are not unsolicited
• Using services offered through JSO
• Other purposes that a user expressly chooses

Spam E-mail
JSO does not tolerate spam. You are not licensed to add other JSO users to your mailing list, (email or physical) whether they have purchased items or services from you or not, unless you are granted their expressed consent.

Account Protection
Your password is the most important aspect of account protection. We recommend that you use a variety of special characters, numbers and letters. Do not share your password with anyone. If you do choose to divulge your information to others remember that you are responsible for all activities conducted under the name of your account.

Accessing, Reviewing and Changing Personal Information
You can access your personal information from the home page of the JSO web-site under the “My Account” option.  After you log in you have the ability to change your account details and request to change your user name. You must update your account information anytime it changes or is inaccurate. Based on your account activity and in accordance with law, we will, upon request and within a reasonable amount of time, remove you personal information. However we do keep personal information in order to collect any fees owed, comply with law enforcement and to enforce the JSO User Agreement and as permitted by law.

Security
Personal information is stored on servers in the United States. All assets are protected as is this data.  It is password protected and encrypted. Although we work hard to protect this data, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications.  Other users with which you have shared your personal information, may abuse or misuse your personal information. 

General
We may amend this privacy policy any time by posting the amended terms on this site. All changes will take effect in 30 days from the time it is posted.  You will be notified by email.
